Crema's Take

Halekulani Bakery is a beloved neighborhood gathering spot where buttery, flaky pastries and thoughtfully composed quiches steal the show alongside solid coffee—think macadamia cinnamon buns and raspberry-pistachio creations that justify the morning line. The vibe is relaxed and family-friendly with plenty of seating for lingering over breakfast or meeting a friend, making it feel less like a grab-and-go café and more like a local institution where the pastry case is genuinely worth the early wake-up call.

WOW!!! Took an early morning walk to the bakery and was there on open. So much to choose from. We had a tomatoe, spinach and mushroom quiche and ham and cheese croissant. We took home some more treats and will have those later. I suspect that they will be just as good. The pastry was soft and flaky and so good. The quiche was also really good. This definitely did not disappoint and worth the early morning walk

This bakery is heaven for people like myself with a sweet tooth. While I am not a chocolate fan and thus didn't try any of their chocolate offerings, I tried the rasberry-pistachio pastry, the mango cream cheese bread, and a third pastry that I don't remember the name of, but I thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Everything was delicious, including my wife's coffee and her gluten free muffin. This is the best bakery that I have ever visited in my 63 years. The people were friendly and all I can say is that I wish that it existed outside of Oahu because I would be there all of the time. Amazing!!!

There was a bit of a line but its worth it. I picked up the pan chocolate which was delish - the chocolate, the flakyness of the crossiant omg...and the mango cheese bread which was good but as they suggested likely better warmed up by my hotel room doesnt have a microwave. They are open on holidays so I will be revising before I depart

Came for the chocolate croissant, left loving everything else! Honestly the chocolate croissant looks beautiful but lacks flavor. It was too flaky if such a thing is possible. However, we got several other varieties of pastry and loved them all! Busy but not crowded on a December morning at 9.

Stopped by for breakfast on our first day on the island. I had a drip coffee with a Macadamia cinnamon bun, and the wife had a cold caramel latte with a passionfruit croissant. Beautiful food and amazing staff. So friendly and you can see the bakers in the back making the food on site. Sat outside and enjoyed in the sun. A perfect start to our holiday.
