Crema's Take
“Sandbar Grill is a rare beachfront gem where you can sink your toes in the sand while enjoying standout breakfast and hearty comfort food, all served by staff who genuinely seem to love what they do. Tucked on a quiet, uncrowded stretch of Fort Lauderdale beach, it's the kind of place where locals linger over coffee and conversation, and where dishes like their legendary pancakes and perfectly juicy burgers taste like they're made with real care. Whether you're catching sunrise breakfast or a leisurely dinner with your feet practically in the sand, the laid-back vibe and attentive service make it feel less like a tourist spot and more like a well-kept secret.”

Such a nice little place right on the beach. Our server, Daniel was courteous and efficient. He made some tasty recommendations.
We had breakfast and dinner here! Great food. Best pancakes I’ve ever had! And the burger was outstanding! Juicy and delicious! The service was phenomenal! I wish I could remember the name of our server at breakfast because she was sweet and attentive and treated us like family. And Daniel, our server at dinner was also very attentive, never let our drinks run dry and made us feel at home. We noticed a lot of regulars which is always a great sign. And after eating here, we understand why people keep coming back. I highly recommend this place.
A favorite with locals - rare because it is right on the sand on a quiet uncrowded stretch of beach. Very casual, with good food & beverages, friendly staff. Enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner while enjoying the view & sound of surf. Ask for Luis - a very nice waiter.
This place is truly a hidden gem in Fort Lauderdale. We don’t have that many restaurants that are right on the sand. The food is always excellent. For me, it’s the service that you get also. Jackie is simply wonderful. So kind, attentive, and she always remembers me when I come in. Dylan is great too…. Always smiling. Love this spot!!
Kim was a terrific waiter. Very personable. You can tell she loves to be a waiter, she checks in on you multiple times and makes sure you’re comfortable. It was nice seeing the staff communicate with each other like family. The food on the menu was pretty basic options. But it all tasted great and the view was nice.
