Hidden GEM .. I know that is an often used phase but it is! Located off Metro not near any foot traffic. Very cute inside but a good vibe doesn't necessarily mean the food is good yet in this case the food is GREAT. What I had was freshly baked and delicious. Lemon scone not overly dry and the lemon was not overpowering. An incredibly flakey cheese Danish just baked. I watched an avocado toast go to a table behind me and it was visually beautiful. Looking forward to trying other bakery items. I asked how long they had been there found out 3 years wish it had not taken me this long to find this Cafe.
I visited this brunch spot over the weekend to kick off my birthday, and what an amazing experience! My friends surprised me with a birthday brunch, and from the moment I arrived, I was welcomed into a cozy, quaint, and inviting atmosphere. The décor was beautiful and full of character. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the special of the day, the bouyon—fresh, authentic, and flavored to perfection. I also had a spoonful of the tilapia in sauce with grits, which was outstanding, and I tried the Haitian spaghetti, which was simply yummy 😋. The customer service was professional, warm, and welcoming. This was the perfect place for my birthday brunch—not just because of the delicious food and great service, but also because of the rich Haitian culture showcased through the artwork on the walls. I highly recommend giving this place a try, and don’t forget to save room for the Haitian rum cake!
Had Brunch here today for a special friend's birthday. I absolutely loved it. Very cozy, food was delicious and great customer service. Will definitely visit again.❤️
Are you a dreamer who needs a place to write or read snuggled up with pillows on a couch with an amazing cup of lavender vanilla coffee next to you? This place was just the thing for this dreamer seeking a place to just be.... Write.... Read.... After ordering my coffee ("are you taking it to go or hanging out a while?") I snuggled up on the fluffy pink couch and not only was my coffee and atmosphere perfect, a little table was located to place my coffee on because my lap was full of my pens and books. Kicked my shoes off and entered a world all of my own without judgement. I was reminded to come back to my second home soon and I wished hard I lived closer to this coffee shop.... This place is a little treasure.... Didn't want to leave.
The price is high, it is true. However, there are large sandwiches. They have a frozen cremas drink that you won't find anywhere else. All the food is fresh & non greasy. Definitely a must try & visit. Quiet with wifi, nice decor too.
