“Guilder roasts its own coffee and nails the fundamentals—their lattes are genuinely excellent, and the baristas actually care about getting your drink right (one will happily make your mocha "obscenely chocolate" if that's what you ask for). The space itself is a converted gas station with cool blue walls and jazzy vibes, plus a heated patio that makes it perfect for lingering with friends on cold Portland afternoons. If you want specialty coffee without pretension and staff who treat regulars and newcomers the same, this is worth the trip to Cully.”

Espresso-focused, with creative signature drinks. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Pastries on the menu. Parking available.

The switch from juniors to guilder made all the difference. Prior to the switch I gave this place 2 stars, strictly for location. But the new staff and setup is way better. They are always NICE, the coffee is CONSISTENTLY good. It’s what you expect for Portland coffee

It was good. Servings of coffee were small. Blueberry croissant was really good. Husband asked for his mocha to be very chocolatey. Barista even said “so obscenely chocolate” and we said yes. It was definitely not anywhere close to obscenely chocolate.
