Nice little place. It's a cafe and cookie place. The cookies are definitely delicious, but they're just regular sized and flavor cookies. You can buy in half or full dozen, or individually. Service is quick, but the half dozen was shoved in a small paper bag. I had to pull them apart. Red velvet, choc chip, snickerdoodle, double choc chip, etc. We compared to our own and it wasn't anything you can't buy at any other store, but they were still good.

So delicious! Best ice cream sandwich. Friendly staff too, which only adds to the great experience. You can have your ice cream sandwich cut in half if you’re sharing. My daughter and I split a double chocolate cookie and cookie dough ice cream sandwich. Yum! So delicious you may not want to share though!

Love this place! Delicious cookies and cookie ice cream sandwiches. Our latest was snickerdoodle cookis and apple pie ice cream.

This was our first visit to Blue Deer on Main. Molly & Ayden are the sweetest! I didn’t know this place offered ice cream, and not just any ice cream. It’s shocking what kinds of ingredients are in the popular brands!!!! So often times I ask shops where they source. Here they offer ice cream that is sourced from Homeland Creamery, family-owned and operated for multiple generations in Julian, North Carolina with sustainable farming practices. They believe in taking amazing care of their cows and happy cows = better tasting milk. I can tell you right now we will never go back to the other ice cream purveyors after tasting this! My husband picked out a double chocolate cookies and ice cream, and I went with the strawberry cheesecake & vanilla ice cream. Words cannot convey how delish this treat was! We’ll be visiting their Boone location too when we visit our son at App State. Something about this ice cream just tasted more real! We’ll be telling everyone & just hope we can still get it, once I share as a top Google Guide, this is too good to keep a secret! Enjoy! Josephine Local Guide
