Renegade Coffee Company

Crema's Take
“Renegade Coffee Company is a refreshingly unhurried espresso haven where the baristas actually care about craft—one reviewer raved about their perfectly pulled shot made by an orange-haired employee with infectious energy. The space itself is a draw: clean, cozy, and loaded with outlets and tables perfect for camping out with your laptop or meeting a friend, making it feel less like a coffee shop and more like your favorite local gathering spot.”

This was my first time at this location. It was very quiet and although the employees immediately asked me how I was doing and what I wanted, they were not pushy like those people in clothing stories that follow you around and ask you if you're okay every 10 seconds. Also, most coffee shops, All their drinks have 10 tons of sugar. I saw a banana on the smoothie menu and I just wanted banana, And they said they would have to add something to it but they could add milk so it would blend up. I tasted it, and it is literally banana and milk. Nothing else. Like real banana. I had to rate it five stars, because I do not like crap ton of sugar in my drinks and it's hard to find real banana and a real basic smoothie at that. I don't live in the area but if I did, I would make this a frequent stop of mine. Great place, go visit it.
Outstanding customer service, great tasting coffee. I don’t know the girls name at the front but she had orange hair, very uplifting and spunky… she made my coffee perfect. This is the first coffee to land in the 10/10 club and I drink a lot of coffee!
I don’t like writing negative reviews about a place I like, or I should say, really WANT to like. Unfortunately every time I order they seem to be on autopilot and completely miss things. Just in the past few months the following has happened: Ordered Turkey Sandwich and received Turkey panini instead. Ordered vanilla latte and received latte with no vanilla. (This has happened multiple times btw with this exact order) Ordered hot matcha latte and got a regular latte (I went back to replace with right order and they made a matcha latte…with wrong milk) Today ordered a Hazelnut latte with no hazelnut. I’m not writing this review to say this is worst place ever… I’m writing this so that the service and attention is fixed and implemented so that I can continue to come here. Right now though, I’m done with Renegade for the foreseeable future, and will update this review in the future (for good or bad) Also, whoever thought that putting the Renegade Blend on the menu without stating its blueberry flavoring added…. You win the award for making the worst tasting coffee beverage of all time. If I was on a deserted island and had to chose to drink renegade blend or sea water I would most likely die from dehydration. I cannot express the BETRAYAL I felt, ordering what I thought to be a delicious coffee beverage (with extra caffeine) and excitedly putting my lips to take that first coffee sip and “ahhh” moment of the day, only to have the rug pulled beneath me and get the taste I can only compare to an “arctic vibe Celsius” mixed with bitter coffee. Serving it to prisoners would be considered a human rights violation in the Geneva Convention. Sandwiches are: good (when right) Customer service: good (very apologetic every time they make a mistake! Which is about half the time) Flip a coin, heads is a good experience, tails is a mystery drink you didn’t order. If you like those odds then Renegade is for you! Will report back in 6 months.
My husband and I went here for the first time a couple of mornings ago. It’s very clean and cozy inside with a lot of tables with outlets nearby. The bathrooms are clean. The staff is super friendly and very helpful and nice. The breakfast sandwiches were huge and delicious. The coffee was very good. I highly recommend and will definitely be back.
I love trying new coffee shops when I travel, and I found this one on Google. I ordered the pistachio latte and the pretzel breakfast sandwich. The coffee was delicious; although it didn't taste much like pistachio, which is a hard flavor to capture, I wasn't disappointed. The breakfast sandwich was beautifully presented but lacked flavor—it could use some seasoning or maybe cheddar cheese. Overall, I'd go back to try something else. The inside of the shop was cute and comfy, making it a great place to read a book, nap, or work. It definitely has a great vibe!
