Literally some of the absolute best coffee and veggie burritos ever! I think these were THE best veggie burritos my husband and I have ever had. We don’t live super close by, but we will be back! I loved my Mississippi hot mocha. My husband loved his eggnog latte with honey.
Nice little eatery. Variety of food choices. Our menu choices were Eat like a Bird and the Berry Parfait with Cafe Au Lait. Service polite and efficient. Has plenty of seating inside and out.
Small, clean and bright cafe with exceptional breakfast and brunch menu options. Line moves very quickly and has ample seating both inside and outdoors. Has great breakfast bowls, sausage biscuits, homemade muffins and delicious drinks. Fantastic coffee, lattes and espresso drinks all in setting filled with local art. Best “classical “ restroom sign ever for mermaids AND centaurs. Recommend!
My boys and I ate breakfast here while my husband swam across the bay. We had the pulled pork & grits, breakfast burrito, and waffle. All were great! It's a nice place and the people were all very friendly.
3 out of 5 stars Visited for breakfast – mixed experience, but solid atmosphere Came by Mockingbird Cafe the other morning and ordered quite a bit of food (about four meals’ worth) because I’m a foodie and like trying a variety of items in one go. The wait time was about 15 minutes, which wasn’t bad at all considering the amount I ordered. Overall, the food was okay — not bad, but not particularly memorable either. The burger was probably the best thing I tried. The fries were decent, the chips were solid, and the biscuits and gravy didn’t really stand out. The hash brown bowl was something I wouldn’t order again, not because it was terrible, just because it didn’t hit any high notes. What I did really enjoy was the environment. The outdoor seating was peaceful and the furniture wasn’t uncomfortable. It’s a good spot to meet up for a laid-back breakfast or lunch. I also appreciated what looked like a dedicated pet-friendly area, which is a nice touch if you’re bringing your dog along. Staff were super friendly and helpful, which goes a long way. Parking was a little frustrating, but that’s pretty standard for downtown in this area. All in all, I’m giving it 3 stars. That’s not a knock — I’m just a pretty strict reviewer. I wasn’t blown away, but I also wasn’t disappointed. It’s a decent local spot and worth trying if you’re in the area and want a casual meal with a relaxing vibe.
