Crema's Take
“DeWitt Bagel is a no-frills neighborhood gem where the bagels themselves are the real draw—customers rave that they're as good as anything you'd find in New York City, with quality cream cheese to match. The owner's genuine passion shines through in the details, from waiting just six minutes for a fresh bagel to come out of the oven to handling special requests with care, making it the kind of independent spot where you feel they actually care about getting your order right.”

I ordered a scrambled egg on a everything bagel with sausage. The bagel was very good, the sausage was also good. But they gave me a fried egg and not scrambled. I really don't like my eggs that way. I don't know if it was a mistake or they just don't make them scrambled. I didn't complain to them about it. But I would definitely come back and give it another shot. The selection of food here is great. If you like cream cheeses and bagels, I recommend them. One more thing, the coffee was very good!
Nothing remarkable about this place. It's just bagels, cream cheese, basic breakfast sandwiches. Some of the baked goods were fine. Check your sandwich if you're vegetarian because they put meat on one of ours.
Not sure what took me so long to to try the bagels here but they are very good. Cream cheese is good and the bagels are just as good as any o have had in NYC. Will be back often
Really great place ! When it comes to food I prefer that small independent business owner who has a passion for food, a commitment to their customers and making their food incredible over a corporate chain any day ... This place doesn't disappoint. Really great friendly service, a neat and clean restaurant and amazing food. If you're in the area I say stop by and give them a try if you haven't already.
I enjoyed a bagel with cream cheese this am from Dewitt Bagel company. When they were out of a specific bagel, we waited only 6 minutes for a fresh one to be baked and grabbed a few to take home. The bagels are more crisp on the outside than a typical bagel. There was also a small area to sit and they served Recess coffee. Unfortunately, the only kind they had this am was dark roast and decaffeinated. I would have enjoyed a light blend.
