The Perfect Press Coffee

Crema's Take
“This cozy neighborhood gem in north Tampa strikes the perfect balance between a serious espresso destination and a welcoming hangout where you can settle in for hours with friends or your laptop. The matcha is exceptionally well-crafted—smooth and balanced enough to win over picky tea lovers—while their espresso-forward menu and thoughtfully curated specialty drinks keep coffee enthusiasts coming back. What really sets it apart is the genuinely kind staff and that rare quality of feeling both calm and full of charm, making it feel less like a coffee shop transaction and more like visiting a local sanctuary.”

I always enjoy going to The Perfect Press Coffee Shop. Love the coffee & the atmosphere. The people who work there are very kind & helpful. A fun place to go with my siblings and friends. It’s fun to be able to do a little shopping at the same time at the super cute boutique.
The Perfect Press truly lives up to its name. It’s the definition of a cozy neighborhood coffee spot—welcoming, calm, and full of charm. As a matcha lover, I’m picky, and theirs is so good—smooth, balanced, and clearly made with care. It’s the kind of place you can come to slow down, catch up with a friend, or just enjoy a quiet moment to yourself. Friendly staff, great vibes, and drinks that keep me coming back. A gem in the neighborhood!
I love Perfect Press. It’s the perfect place to cozy up for a couple of hours and get some good work done or just sit and chat with friends. Its proximity to Carrollwood Village Park makes for a great outdoor weekend date. And that’s without even mentioning the coffee and matcha…which are both amazing! If they have seasonal specials, do not sleep on them. I have never been disappointed. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite coffee shops in the region!
I came across this coffeeshop a little while ago while searching for a new shop to try around the north Tampa area. We ended up going to around Christmas holiday and thought it was super cute. A bit busy since it was a Saturday morning but service was moving things along decently. My boyfriend and I each got one of their house special and seasonal lattes: the coquito latte and horchata latte (both hot). The coquito latte was great, you could taste a mild coconut flavor and it wasn't too sweet. The horchata was good but we wouldn't be able to tell it was a horchata latte if we didn't know what it was. Tasted more like a regular latte. We will be back to try some other drinks and food item. Overall, a charming local shop to check out.
I saw a post about The Perfect Press Coffee on Instagram. Since I was in downtown on Saturday afternoon, I decided to visit. I was able to find parking near the cafe. When I entered the cafe, I loved the ambiance and decorations inside the cafe. I observed people enjoying the coffee inside the cafe. After browsing the menu, I ordered a Seasonal coffee, specifically the Pumpkin Spice Latte. My drink arrived 10 minutes later. The coffee was perfectly spiced, exactly what I was looking for. The seasonal drink was delicious and the ambiance was lovely too. I loved everything about it.
