Had an amazing experience here even though I only did online order pickup. My order was ready faster than most big retailers’ “2-day delivery,” and the price was very fair, even lower than what I saw elsewhere. But the best part was the pickup itself. It was smooth, quick, and genuinely human. The team was warm and caring in a way you don’t run into often, and it honestly sparked my day and put me in a holiday mood. I’ll definitely be back, and I’d recommend this shop to any Philadelphians or visitors.

Happy 118th birthday to the good folks at Fante's; a UNIQUE culinary destination for cooks and chefs from all over the world. it's quickly evident why people travel far and wide and keep coming to this store for decades. They really know their stuff and, unlike much of today's retail landscape, each and every person there is both knowledgeable and very, very friendly. That may be because it's still a family business with an unparalleled commitment to quality and customer service. If you value those kinds of things and great honest advice then please support this kind of small business... there aren't many left like this.

I love Fantes, been going for years. I miss the back section being open with more baking supplies though.

This place is a gem. I love popping in to pick up my SodaStream CO2 replacements. I’ll take a quick lap around the store, smell those amazing coffee beans, poke around the gadget section to see what cool things they have, and maybe buy something cute. I appreciate that there’s always someone to talk to when I’m looking to make a purchase. And I can’t end this review without shouting out their frozen coffee drink. On a hot summer day, after melting at the playground watching my kid play, it perks me right up.

Great selection of coffees, all labeled by taste, ground & bagged right there on the spot in 1 lb and half pound pouches. (😋 Beware the frozen treat sign out front!! It will lead to the best coffee treat to beat the heat! 😋)
