Crema's Take

Lyric is a convenient ground-floor spot for Hotel Dena guests craving a hearty breakfast burrito stuffed with eggs, sausage, and potatoes, though it seems to struggle with consistency in both kitchen execution and service. The cozy, hotel-adjacent location makes it easy to grab traditional breakfast fare without venturing far, but reviewers suggest checking ahead on availability since the limited menu sometimes runs out of items early. If you're staying nearby and want a no-fuss morning meal, it's worth a try, though managing expectations around service quality would be wise.

It’s a convenient spot to eat while staying at the hotel. If you have the time to walk the block for coffee, I’d recommend thank you that instead.

Super convenient and cozy for those staying at Hotel Dena. We shared the generous breakfast burrito which was piping hot and stuffed with an egg-sausage-potato scramble. This is a solid choice for ease and comfort.

We’re guests at the hotel and the front desk recommended the restraunt so we went downstairs to try it for lunch. Awful service. We stood at the hostess stand for 5 minutes while the hostess sat in a booth on a personal phone call ignoring all of us. When we sat (2:35pm) she promptly told us she was leaving her shift at 3 and before we’d even finished sitting down let alone opening the menu asked us what we wanted to eat quite rudely. Food was okay pretty pricey. Would not go back.

Came for breakfast. Only an hour into breakfast. They no longer had the breakfast special available. Came back again for brunch. No lunch like options. Ordered off the SAME breakfast menu. Was out of the breakfast meat I ordered. Also note- if you’re not a fan of wheat or eggs, there is really a bare minimum you can order here.

Went there for breakfast with my wife and what a terrible experience. Waiter who had no personality, eggs came over easy for both of us when we asked for over hard and over medium and this breakfast was more expensive than the dinner we had in old Pasadena the night before. With so many great restaurants within walking distance, there's no reason to waste time here.
