“Herbivores is a revelation for anyone eating plant-based on the Big Island, serving genuinely craveable vegan food that even non-vegans obsess over—their Big Moke burger and crispy vegan wings are legitimately some of the best versions of these dishes period. The cafe moves at its own pace with occasional waits, but the commitment to quality (including oat-based soft serve and a dole whip float worth the trip alone) makes it worth the slowdown. This is the kind of spot where regulars become evangelists.”

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast and light food on the menu. Family friendly.

Amazing vegan food. Everyone is so nice and the food is phenomenal! Most exciting find was oat milk soft serve ice cream. Favorite food item was the purple potato salad but I truly loved everything. It was so good I kept coming back multiple times.
