Crema's Take

Wussow's Concert Cafe is a beloved Duluth gathering spot that pairs serious espresso craft with genuine community connection, hosting regular open mic nights and creating the kind of welcoming space where staff remember to add extra sprinkles to a kid's hot cocoa. Beyond excellent coffee, they offer thoughtfully curated pastries and vegan-friendly food options that complement their drinks without feeling like an afterthought, all served with the kind of friendly, unhurried attention that makes you want to linger.

Visited during our trip up to Duluth for our kiddo’s birthday. The staff was great and added extra sprinkles to his hot cocoa! Lots of vegan options and had sandwich offerings during our early brunch. Front room is sunny with board games! Really enjoyed our visit.

Wussow's is a great place to connect with other people! They regularly host open mic nights and have a plethera of drink and food options available. I've mostly gotten their coffee.

good mix of coffee and pastries. I only needed coffee but they did have available. It’s on a busy street and I missed it since the trees were in the way. But I stopped in for some coffee. I ordered the Foglifter and it tasted very good.

Tasty scone, long wait for a flat white. There were a little less than half the tables taken when I walked in. I was greeted and placed my order within seconds of arrival. The wait for my coffee was not as quick however. Had time to eat nearly my whole scone, often wondering what order was being called as the young barista announced was order before my own with a low conversational voice, one which had you wondering if you heard them correctly or if there were already ten people waiting on orders ahead of you in queue. The flat white was fine. The scone was pretty good (blueberry). The vibe is relaxed while disorganized, there was plenty of coffee shop chatter and cozy corner readers.

Awesome place! I’d heard of it before, but hadn’t had a chance to go until now. The service was very friendly and accommodating. They had my favorite root beer, and delicious scones, reasonably priced. The coffee was exactly how I liked it. Great decor. Also, as a performer there, I do appreciate when venues know how to run sound (always a rarity in live music). I will certainly be back.
