“This airport café trades on the fact that Kona's small terminal is mostly exposed to the sun, so air conditioning and a beer while you wait can feel genuinely valuable—but reviews consistently hammer the overpriced, low-quality food (rubbery cheese on a $15 bagel is par for the course), sporadic rudeness from staff, and aggressive tipping defaults that leave visitors frustrated. A few people praise the vegan options and friendly service, but they're the exception in a pattern of complaints about paying premium prices for mediocre execution. Skip it unless you're desperate for a cold drink in AC; the food isn't worth the money.”
