Bethany Coffee Shop

It was good when we posted our first review, Unfortunately our last return was our last return. Don't bother since it's under different management. Our meal was wonderful! We think this spot is quite a find in terms of good dining in Lincoln. Jenny had the Lenten fish and chips special, very fresh fish and the chips were fluffy and light. I had the scallop special, a generous portion, nice creamy sauce, balsamic roast brussies and grilled asparagus were really well prepared, as was the toasted risotto. Quality ranking with the best in Lincoln in my opinion and great service.

The food here is delicious! I've only been in for lunch so far, but I intend to go for dinner and dessert very soon. I had the club sandwich on the house white bread. It was wonderfully seasoned and perfectly toasted. The staff is very friendly. As I said, I will return!

Very welcoming staff, appealing atmosphere, with a cute coffee bar and the homemade bread on display. The bread is even better than it looks too! The food is all amazing, you can't go wrong with any choice. This was the only cafe I hadn't tried in Lincoln definitely a new fav.

The food was really good. But, they were literally out of everything on the breakfast menu....bacon, sausage, biscuits and gravy, smoked salmon. So, I finally settled on a chicken salad sandwich instead of breakfast and it was quite possibly the best one I have ever had. I am only giving them 3 stars because of not being able to order my first 2 choices off the menu and the fact that it took 40 minutes to get my food. I am hoping that when I go back, there will be no problems and I will gladly up my rating.

The staff was so kind, and the chef came out to greet us. The food though, that was phenomenal. My wife and I had the two daily specials duck and pork belly risotto. Then, we had chocolate and cream cake for the desserts. Wow!
