Crema's Take

Tomokohi is a sun-filled hidden gem where espresso precision meets creative tea craft, equally at home pulling a perfectly balanced cold brew as it is crafting a nuanced brown sugar matcha. The intimate space strikes that rare balance between slick and inviting—quiet enough for deep focus or meaningful conversations, yet warm enough that you'll linger over their thoughtfully sourced pastries and house-made metric beans. Whether you're a coffee purist or drawn to their signature creative drinks, the genuinely kind baristas and cozy neighborhood vibe make it worth seeking out, especially on a winter day when you need both exceptional coffee and a refuge from the cold.

The perfect sun-drenched spot for a winter day! The brown sugar matcha was delicious and I can’t wait to try the hojicha latte next. It was -3 degrees outside today, but nice and warm inside thanks to the big windows. A great spot for some journaling!

Stopped by on a Sunday morning for some coffee. The baristas were incredibly kind, and the coffee was excellent. The americano wasn’t too acidic, and the lavender latte had just the right amount of sweetness. There’s a small but thoughtful selection of baked goods, and I’m fairly sure they make their syrups in-house (I noticed hand-labeled bottles behind the counter.) This cafe is such a lovely addition to the neighborhood. I’ll definitely be back often — it’s close to home, parking is easy, and service is quick. I also had a brief chat with the owner and loved hearing the story behind the name (keeping that a secret)

Small shop serving their own blend of metric beans along side some unique and high quality pastries. Interior is slick but seating is limited. Its fairly quiet overall and could lend itself to being a good spot to work or read. Worth going to if you're in the neighborhood.

One of the best hidden gems in the neighborhood. Their cold brew is outstanding — smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced without being bitter. I stopped by on a sunny day with my bike, and it was the perfect refreshment. The vibe inside is cozy yet modern, with thoughtful details and plants by the window that give it a welcoming feel. Definitely a spot I’ll come back to when I want quality coffee and a quiet place to relax
