Cozy Spot with Games, Limited Veg Food Options Steam Coffee & Cream in Fountain Inn has a nice, cozy vibe and is a good place to relax for a bit. The coffee was decent—nothing extraordinary, but enjoyable and well made. The seating area is small, so it’s better suited for short visits rather than long work sessions. A fun highlight is the variety of board games available, which makes it a cute place to hang out with friends or family. From a food perspective, vegetarian savory options are very limited—the only choice we noticed was bagels. It would be great to see more vegetarian or savory items added to the menu. Overall, a pleasant neighborhood coffee spot with a relaxed atmosphere and games, but with room to grow on the food menu. Nice place to stop by if you’re in the area ☕️🎲

Steam Coffee has a really cozy, inviting coffee shop vibe — the kind of place you want to love. Unfortunately, the atmosphere seems to be doing most of the heavy lifting. The service always feels oddly frantic, like something major is happening behind the counter… even when there’s not much going on. Coffee takes an alarming amount of time to make, and after several visits (because hope springs eternal), the result is consistently bland. I’ve tried their basic coffee, multiple specialty drinks, and even seasonal/holiday offerings, and somehow they all manage to taste equally lifeless. The baked goods are fine — genuinely — but that’s likely because I suspect they are from Costco, which feels a bit like outsourcing joy. In short: great ambiance, solid seating, pleasant place to sit and chat… just don’t come expecting memorable coffee. Steam has the vibe down, but the coffee itself still hasn’t shown up.

This is the sweetest local, family-run coffee shop! The prices are affordable, the atmosphere is cozy, and the drinks and treats are delicious! We especially love how they sell all sorts of little trinkets and gifts that are hand-crafted by other local artists. Will definitely return!

Had coffee here twice. Both times have been very good. Love that their menu has such a variation. First time getting breakfast. Bacon, egg, cheese, and greens on a croissant. This croissant is legit! Flaky, crispy, buttery; not that spongy thing you get at Starbucks.
