Higher Grounds Coffee House

My family if 3 went here specifically because my wife wanted their coffee. The service was about and beyond. I say that because they had just 1 person working everything. Poor woman was also working the drive through. Whomever owns this place needs to give her a bonus because she is busting her but for what I am sure are crap wages. Do better.

I came here on a Sunday morning after hearing a friend mention it, and it was honestly a nice little spot. The place had a cozy vibe with soft music and comfy seating. I ordered an iced latte and a breakfast sandwich—both were fresh and tasted pretty good. The staff seemed friendly, even though they were a bit busy. Prices are fair for what you get. I liked that they had outlets for laptops too, so I could catch up on some work. Overall, good experience and I’d come back again.

An easy place to stop and grab a hot drink. I do enjoy going inside to order from the kiosk because I can order exactly what I desire this way without the worry. The staff inside works quickly to get orders out quickly and are very pleasant. I'd rather stop here rather than the big chains.

The staff didn't know how to make my drink and had to wait for someone else to show up before it could be made. It then tasted like black coffee. I wanted to love the place as their mission is wonderful (which is my reason for 2 stars) but it was extremely disappointing.

I love higher grounds coffee in general! The Highlander Grog & Cinnamon Toast are wonderful!! However my biggest complaint is with the flavor of the month for the last 2 months~~ the very NASTY artificial Candy cane.. It was bad last year & its as BAD this year It ~~~ Please don't bring it back next year! If you MUST use mint at the holiday's maybe try a Chocolate mint, but go much milder with the mint flavor. On a more positive note~~ Stephanie is kind & very cheerful & makes a nice way to start the morning!! Thanks
