Town Center Cold Pressed - Ghent
1902 Colley Ave, Norfolk, VA
Crema's Take
“Tucked into Ghent, this spot excels at customization—whether you're building your own açai bowl or asking the baristas to tailor a smoothie to your exact taste—while neo-soul music and a genuinely relaxed vibe make it the kind of place where you'll want to linger with your laptop for hours. The quality ingredients and generous portions in their specialty drinks and breakfast options punch well above the price point, attracting a loyal local following who clearly know this is where the real care happens.”

It was awesome. They tailor-made my smoothie and it was perfect. The atmosphere is really chill. The neo-soul music created ambience. And the healthy food options were/are incredible. I can't wait to go back snd try the oatmeal. Old-Norfolk/New School appeal. You and your family will love it!
Ordered through Instacart. They called to inform us they didnt have the gluten free bagel and that we should have checked the non existent $2 dollar charge if we wanted it. They asked if i wanted it on the side without a bagel or a refund. I said refund please because their was no option on instacart ordering menus. After which they were audibly irritated and said I'd need to request it through the app. Which then lead to more poor service through instacart as instacart believes they should have canceled the item on their end. Hot food was packaged with my wives smoothies bowl and it was completely warm and melted. Do not go here unless youre willing to waste your money and get attitude on their mistakes!
This place is great. I got a build your own açaí bowl and it was delicious. Prices aren’t too bad for the quality of the ingredients, and the quantity they give you definitely makes it worth it. You simply order at the kiosk and then the staff quickly prepares the food/drink for you. Overall, smooth experience in a cozy cafe.
Great atmosphere. Great selection. Comfortable seating area with a relaxed vibe. I usually order online because the menu is so great. I was pleasantly surprised when I went in person. I usually get Coffee which is great but this time I got a smoothie which was also excellent. The smoothie bowls are really good too, they are always filled with fresh fruit and the presentation is beautiful. They do have a gluten free bagel option. The bagel is a little dense honestly but it's nice to have the option.
Overall, I had a great experience at this small café with a solid selection of drinks and food. My family enjoyed an excellent breakfast, and it was clear that many locals frequent the spot—they seemed to know exactly what to order. The pricing was reasonable, except for the juices, which felt a bit steep at $6-$7 each. One downside is that the café isn’t very kid-friendly since they don’t offer high chairs, which made dining with my little one a bit challenging. The customer service was decent, but it could improve. The two staff members were clearly working hard, managing a steady flow of orders, so I won’t fault them for the slightly slower service. The self-order tablet is convenient, but it did take away from the personal interaction you might expect, especially for new customers who might have questions. I noticed another first-time visitor who seemed a bit lost and could have used some guidance. That said, the café was spotless, and the food was fantastic. I’ll definitely be back for another visit!
