Crema's Take

This roastery on Vashon Island is a wonderfully sprawling destination where you can linger over meticulously poured drip coffee on the porch or pull up a seat in their generous indoor space surrounded by a bookstore, gift shop, and market. Their pastries—particularly the pear Danish and almond croissant—are genuinely worth the 15-20 minute wait, though espresso enthusiasts should stick with their stellar pour overs rather than the occasionally over-extracted shots. It's the kind of place that rewards unhurried visits, whether you're browsing their retail offerings, trying one of their many fresh-brewed teas, or simply soaking in the community-gathering vibe that makes it a local favorite.

Fantastic Pear Danish! I'd steer clear of unsweetened espresso drinks, though because the shots were very burnt. About 15-20 min wait for coffee in a cute shop w adjoining market and bookstore!

One of the BEST places to get coffee on Vashon Island. You can order a variety espresso inside OR have some of the best drip coffee that they have set up on the porch. You can drink your coffee on the porch with the locals. My daughter and I split 2 different croissants ham and cheese and mushroom— The ham and cheese was delicious but the mushroom was TO die for!!! The pumpkin muffin was AMAZING!! You can purchase fresh roasted coffee and their varieties of teas are endless… Atmosphere is typical of the island- welcoming and laid back—HIGHLY recommend!!! Halloween they have the local pumpkin carving contest— a MUST see if in the area!!

Great coffee and some very tasty baked goods... I had already bought their coffee before in the grocery store and online but had never visited the actual roastery and cafe before and I was not disappointed. Very very rustic and cozy, the staff is very friendly and welcoming and it was just a really cool place to just hang out and enjoy a fresh cup of coffee...

Wow! Isn’t this an establishment! It’s a huge coffee shop with a plethora of tea varieties available to brew fresh. They have coffee beans for sale and there is a bookshop, gift shop and herbs/supplements shop upstairs. They roast the beans right on the corner of the building. We ordered a drip and oat cappuccino. It was blazing hot and has a crispness to it. We also got a Persian dessert ensemble and couldn’t wait to take it back home.

This was a nice coffee shop to visit on Vashon Island. The almond croissant was super delicious, and the overall ambiance was good and there’s lot to see inside. It is connected to a couple of other small businesses that you should check out.
