IF YOU HAVE CELIAC OR A FOOD ALLERGY PLEASE READ! Edit to reply to the owner's comment: Generally people do understand that some cross contamination may occur, and while your menu does state that, the act of re-serving The same salad that had been requested to be remade is unacceptable. A person may be able to take trace amounts, but not the amount that would pass through by direct contact with the food item. Your comment displays a serious unwillingness to take responsibility for your actions and reaffirms my personal commitment to not frequent your establishments. I just truly hope that nobody ever ends up harmed by these practices. I hate leaving negative reviews on small businesses, but unfortunately this time I must. My wife and I have been patrons of Bailey's a couple of times now with this being the first time we've ordered takeout. While waiting for our food, I observed two things very unsettling, both centering around the chef. The first was his demeanor towards the staff. In the first few minutes of me waiting there, I observed him berating two waitresses and the other cook. Having worked in kitchens, I understand it's a high-pressure environment, but yelling at people doesn't solve anything, and one of the waitresses was nearly in tears over the treatment. However, more unsettling, and the reason for this review, a waitress came back with a salad topped with focaccia. She stated that a customer had told her they had celiac disease and had requested that the order be remade without the bread. The chef rolled his eyes, turned around, grabbed another plate, and moved the salad on to the new plate, leaving the focaccia behind, sprucing it up with a few more vegetables, then sending it back out full of cross contamination. If you are reading this and ate here at about 1pm on August 15th, 2025 and you experienced a reaction to the food, please feel free to contact me should you need a witness. Under ordinary circumstances, I wouldn't necessarily leave a review for this kind of thing. However, when I inquired with a couple of different waitresses, I discovered that the offending chef was the owner, Larry. Unfortunately, that means that there is no oversight except for the opinion of the general public. Well I'm not saying that everybody should avoid eating here, I am certainly suggesting that the owner rethink the way he treats his staff, and I would encourage those with severe food sensitivities and allergies to watch the food being prepared to ensure that nothing similar occurs.

A charming spot with a simple yet accommodating menu, complemented by good service and a beautifully designed space. It offers seating for both small and large groups, making it a great place to grab a quick bite and hang out. Plus, the convenience of a general store next door lets you pick up a few essentials before or after your meal. ***the sweet potato hash is excellent.

First time here and we will be back. Had sausage gravy and biscuits with side of sweet potato hash, also ordered eggplant rollatini with side of tomato bisque. Got the popovers as well BUT the butter had sugar in it.

My husband and I stopped by for breakfast after our orthodontist highly recommended Bailey's for breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised to see how welcoming and clean and up to date it was. We were happily greeted and since it was our first time there, she explained the menu and all of our options. After getting a few recommendations we made our choices and found ourselves a seat in a corner with a beautiful view out the front window, next to a comfy arm chair and couch by some holiday decorations. The atmosphere was so cozy. We picked up our drinks at the counter, which were the Creme Brulee Macchiato, and the Christmas Sweater Cappuccino (or something like that) and they were absolutely Delicious! Our food was served to our table and we were delighted by how tasty each of our meals were. We read over the antique items framed on the walls about the history of the location while we sat at our table and it intrigued us to do more research on the area, as we are from Taylor. It is definitely a place I would love to stop by again when we are in the area! Thank you to Bailey's Staff for such a wonderful experience.
