Kahve Café

Crema's Take
“Kahve Café is a warmly eccentric neighborhood gem where Turkish coffee culture meets thoughtful creativity, with Elif's passionate ownership infusing every visit with genuine care and hospitality. The eclectically decorated space—filled with colorful touches and the mesmerizing ritual of traditional Turkish coffee and moon milk being made right in front of you—feels less like a café and more like a welcoming home where you'll want to linger over baklava, specialty drinks, and conversation. Whether you're discovering Turkish cuisine for the first time or returning as a regular, this is the kind of place that makes Salt Lake City feel a little more connected and a lot more intentional.”

This is just the coziest, colorful, warmest home to enjoy Turkish style small foods and drinks! This was my first time trying this cuisine and it did not disappoint. Elif, the owner, has really transformed this gorgeous Victorian home into something truly unique in SLC. There’s multiple floors that you can explore and enjoy her artful taste in decor. My husband and I loved everything! The Turkish tea, Turkish coffee, Asure, Sutlac, and Borek were so delicious for a light breakfast. I really can’t wait to come back to try the Turkish traditional breakfast tasting she hosts!
Kahve Cafe SLC is an absolute standout. The coffee is excellent, the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, and it truly feels like a neighborhood gathering place. Elfin is an amazing owner—kind, passionate, and genuinely invested in creating a great experience for everyone who walks through the door. You can feel the care that goes into every detail, from the drinks to the vibe. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick coffee or settling in for a while, Kahve Cafe makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend supporting this wonderful local spot. ☕✨
Sweet lil café eclectically decorated! It was nice to hear about the specials and cool to see the Turkish coffees and moon milks being made in front of us! I really liked the rose and pistachio baklavas and it complimented the coffees too — both not too sweet. Will have to return and check out all the floors and spaces to work
If you took a U of U PhD student in International Composting Theory and somehow morphed them into a coffee shop, you’d get Kahve Cafe SLC rich, earthy, thoughtful, and eclectic. The vibe is amazing: relaxed, creative, and welcoming. The staff are kind and helpful mostly without any pretense. Their Turkish coffee (brewed in hot sand) is a must-try, and the moon milks especially Cardamom Rose and Blue Moon are not something you'll find elsewhere in town. Also recommend a borek or vegan baklava to go with your drinks.
Found out about this Turkish coffee shop from IG and decided to follow. Dang…where have I been? I used to live near by this place and don’t know about this. It’s so cute and homey. I can sit and enjoy talking to my friends or just working here if I still live close by. The staff are nice. Turkish coffee was good and the baklava is probably the best I ever had in my life (I usually find baklava too sweet for my liking but not at this place). I also got black tea cake and lavender cake. They are not too sweet as well but I can see why some people find it’s a bit dry (I think it’s just the style of cake). Their savory bakeries are also good. Will definitely come back and recommend this to anyone
