Crema's Take
“Drink & Dish Local is a laid-back neighborhood gathering spot where you'll find genuinely warm service and well-seasoned comfort food that keeps people coming back—the kind of place where friendly waitstaff and relaxed vibes make you want to linger over your meal. Whether you're catching a casual lunch, meeting a friend, or settling in for an afternoon, the inviting atmosphere and attentive crew create that rare feeling of being welcomed into a local favorite, though you might want to double-check those add-on charges at the register.”

It’s a great place but I find that they over charge on dumb stuff. Does this look like two dollars in banana peppers to you? I will continue coming back, but I just don’t quite understand charges like that. The same thing if you order a side of pickles. Editing my review to incorporate the receipt. I did request double and triple of these things. My grand point was that, for what was being charged, I would expect that proportion in return. $2 worth of banana pepper as opposed to 50 cents worth. I do enjoy the food, but this definitely isn’t the first time. I’ve been charged $3 for a couple pickle spears. Menu items have always been reasonably priced. It’s the add ons where I pay for triple and get less than extra x1 that it’s upsetting.
I tried this place today and it was definitely amazing. The food was good hot and seasoned. I had the grilled chicken tenders. The service was excellent. The lady at the counter was very nice friendly and patient. The atmosphere is nice clean quiet I like it. I’ll be back food with fresh and hot no complaints this way keep up the good work
Caught a bite to eat here before heading downtown to Pacers watch party! So good! Our waitress was adorable, and the other patrons were so friendly! Very casual,laid-back vibe! The food was very tasty and served in good portions! I had the BBQ pulled pork! Yum! Served with reasonably priced, very cold beer! Great lunch brunch spot!
Loved the complete experience. Been here a few times before but hadn't had a lunch here ever. The server Bryan was the worst in all the best ways possible (kidding, kidding - what I mean is he could "keep up with our vibe” and it was perfect). Anytime I see a Reuben on a menu l have to try it (usually unless there's a food competition of another fave of mine) - solid 10/10 and the tots were amazing - perfectly hot and crisp. No complaints here. Expect a dark lit bar space but with the windows and day light it creates the best ambience. Clean. Prompt service. Blah blah blah it was great just try it out and you'll love it too! OH and that Bloody Mary - no words can describe how much I liked it. It was also 10/10. 10/10 experience. You get the gist, right? Just go. Copy me and order exactly what I did. Or don't. Either way, you won't be disappointed.
This casual neighborhood tavern really impressed us from start to finish. We stopped by for a relaxing afternoon and ended up having such a great time that it’s made our list of places to return. The service was outstanding—our waitress was clearly juggling a lot but never missed a beat. She was friendly, helpful with recommendations, and even happily crafted a drink when I wasn’t sure what I wanted. Truly above and beyond! We grabbed a seat outside and enjoyed watching the place fill up as the day went on. Despite the crowd, our food and drinks came out fast and fresh. The burger? Easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The fries were impossible to stop eating—especially dipped in their homemade ranch (they offer several flavors!). The Hand-Dipped Chicken Fingers were equally tasty, and the portion was generous. Oh, and don’t miss the Bloody Mary's—they’re practically a meal on their own! Inside you can find live music, TVs with sports, and a laid-back, friendly vibe that makes you feel right at home. Parking can be a bit tricky depending on the time, but it’s well worth the effort. Can’t wait to come back!
