CR Coffee Shop

I stopped here before my flight to get a cup of hot coffee. I went to this counter because the Starbucks’ line was long and there was no one at CR Coffee Shop. I should have taken it as a sign. But I didn’t. Ordered my coffee and it was quite bland- like it was brewed with half the recommended amount of grounds. I asked for hazelnut flavor. The nonchalant, borderline rude employee said that’s $1 more. I told him it wasn’t good. He said he doesn’t even drink coffee. SMH. I paid the $1. The amount of hazelnut he put I. Was not enough, he said “you’ll have to pay another $1, cause I already gave you some” Customer service was poor. I will never patronize this company again.

Love this coffee shop — my new favorite in the new Marigny area! Always a pleasure being served by the barista Milo, great personality and even better service. He heard us saying that we wanted hot chocolate, but we were vegan — so he whipped up the best soy hot chocolate I’ve had in a while!!!!! Will be coming back for the great coffee and friendly faces!!! Ps they are vegan and dog friendly 🐶

Been here many times but some older woman I never saw before tried to charge me $10 for a small ginger latte. I’ve never paid that before, she mumbled saying it was because of oat milk…so you’re charging $2 for oat milk? I only bought this a day ago for much less. I saw her charge me for a Cubano not a latte. I don’t care to argue with people doing weird things like that, very shady. Won’t be coming back, especially with her behind the counter.

SUCH a great place to work or chat with a friend. Very comfortable environment. Indoor and outdoor seating. The outdoor seating has coverage so you have the option to not sit in direct sunlight if you don't want to. Every single time I've been there they greet me like they've known me my whole life! And best of all, great coffee!

We’re lucky enough to have a ton of coffee options in New Orleans. Luckily regardless of which one you choose, you’ll likely have a solid experience. But your experience will be exceptional only when you choose CR. The coffee, particular the cold brew, strikes a rarely perfect balance between strong and tasty. It’s good for people who crave bold flavors and for those who prefer a more mild, sippable coffee. The atmosphere is wonderful, featuring a perfect private patio and a great indoor place perfect for reading , remote work and socializing. But I saved the best for last - the Magnificent people who power CR Coffee Magazine are my favorite part. They’re kind, knowledgeable and genuinely pleasant. I love this coffee shop and I call on you to give them a try.
