Elegy Coffee Germantown

1390 Adams St, Nashville, TN

★★★★★4.5(112 Google reviews)

Crema's Take

Tucked into Nashville's Germantown neighborhood, Elegy Coffee crafts genuinely inventive drinks like The Arborist—a balsam fir and spruce-forward creation that feels more like a botanical experience than your standard latte—alongside thoughtfully executed espresso and pour overs. The stylish space and genuinely helpful staff create a warm refuge (even on rainy afternoons), and they're particularly attentive to dietary needs, making their full breakfast menu a real draw despite the cozy, limited seating. It's the kind of place where the creative energy extends from the cup to the pastry case, with cinnamon buns and gluten-free options that match the care put into every drink.

Awesome staff and vibe. Enjoyed a gf breakfast burrito with gf tortilla, eggs cheese sweet potato which was huge and delicious! Staff very helpful about gf options- forgot to take a photo(sorry). They also have 4 different muffins/pastries gluten free each wrapped and sealed in their own packaging so not exposed to gluten treats. Coffee was delicious- highly recommend 👍

I got the iced honey bear and morsel cinnamon bun. Both yummy. It’s a cute environment and great customer service. The only thing I would say I was bummed about was there isn’t much seating inside. It was also a little tricky to find. I thought it was inside the front doors of the Griff but it’s located to the right of the dentist office door. It would be nice to have a sign outside or something to follow!

The Arborist boasts Drip coffee, balsam fir, spruce, orange vanilla foam, chartreuse végétal aromatic spritz, smoked salt garnish and tastes unlike any ordinary latte, mocktail, or otherwise. The Elegy burrito tastes nearly as good but could do without Bush’s black beans directly from the can.

Very stylish coffee shop in Germantown neighborhood of Nashville. Very friendly staff. We were glad to find it on a rainy afternoon! (Photos show next-door landmark buildings.)

The service and atmosphere at Elegy Coffee were great, but we found our coffee disappointing. It tasted fair but was served to us lukewarm. I'm sure this was just an accident, as many of Elegy's reviews are satisfactory.
