Crema's Take

Tucked into Jersey City, this welcoming neighborhood gem serves up carefully crafted coffee alongside distinctly flavorful breakfast fare like menemen and pastirma eggs Benedict that reflect thoughtful culinary care. The owner and staff create a genuinely comfortable, unhurried atmosphere where regulars feel at home whether they're settling in with a laptop, meeting a friend, or lingering over pastries in the bright, peaceful space. It's the kind of place where the coffee tastes fresh, the food satisfies, and you can't quite imagine your neighborhood without it.

Come for the food, but stay for the vibes! I don’t know what I’d do without Cafe Tabarka in the neighborhood. This place is my go-to place for coffee and yummy food. It’s the perfect place to curl up with a good book or catch up with a friend over brunch.

First visit and loved the food. Menemen shared by the table-dipped flatbread in an amazing egg mixture of spices and herbs. Pastirma eggs Benedict delicious including the potatoes. Avocado toast with Za’Atar -made fresh -brimming with flavor (my favorite). Croissant with fresh berries and cream. All Wow. Excellent dessert- lemon GF tart. Date cinnamon lattes and 1 chai latte ordered by the table. Looking forward to my next visit.

Love this little cafe in the neighborhood. Their breakfast wrap is protein packed, healthy and delicious. It’s my go to along with their great coffee.

I walked into Cafe Tabarka on a rainy day and it was the most peaceful, cozy cafe I needed in the neighborhood (they just opened!). The interior when you walk in is clean, cozy and bright, very spacious with lots of seating inside. and most importantly the almond milk latte I got was SO GOOD. I will definitely be coming back for the coffee now that I have found a spot I can trust with its quality. The service was quick and pleasant. The owner was very kind and friendly. Definitely will be back to try the Dolma Latte. Lots of Gluten free options for pastries, and the filled donuts are such a treat.
