Crema's Take

Hungry Llama draws a devoted crowd with its signature whipped honey latte, a fluffy and perfectly balanced creation that has earned passionate fans despite occasional divisiveness. Beyond the espresso-focused menu, this eclectic spot wins hearts with generous sandwiches (the chicken club is legendary), quality pastries, and a welcoming vibe that makes it ideal for lingering over breakfast or meeting friends, though arriving early beats the morning rush.

The whipped honey late was AMAZING! The whipped foam was so fluffy and sweet. The latte had the perfect balance of milk and espresso.🍯☕ I went on a Sunday morning and it was pretty busy as expected!

Their coffee wasn’t very impressive, especially the whipped honey latte, which felt overrated and ended up being a real disappointment. The cold brew was very solid though. The avocado toast was underwhelming as well, basically just a single slice of bread with toppings and definitely overpriced. Even the burrito failed to satisfy. That said, the atmosphere was lively and nice, if you enjoy a louder, energetic vibe. Edit: Thank you for the thoughtful response and for offering to make things right. I really appreciate the willingness to stand behind your food and service. As a sign of good will, I’m happy to update my rating to 4 stars. That said, I do think there’s still room for improvement. The avocado toast would feel much more worthwhile if it were more than a single slice of bread with toppings, especially at that price point. And the burrito could definitely be fresher to really stand out. I’m always open to giving places a second chance, so I look forward to stopping by again in the future.

Eclectic collection of furnishings, tables and chairs. Very nice coffee and delicious pastries. It gets busy straight after opening in the mornings. It is quiet when seated and there are large tables suitable for group settings. Staff here are very friendly and helpful, I would recommend a visit. The americano looked great and was served in a proper mug! It has a very homely vibe with coasters and marble tables. Good toilet facilities.

I got the Chicken Club Sandwich and my partner got the full breakfast. My the chicken club is one of the two best sandwiches I’ve ever had. They put this delicious Aioli on it and were super generous with the chicken and bacon. The Sourdough was toasted and super crunchy. It came with fries that had a nice crunch and seasoning to them as well. I would highly recommend the sandwich it was delicious.

A very popular place with lines. Line moves along but still a long line so plan accordingly. Large indoor seating space and a couple of outdoor tables. Friendly staff. We were there for the coffee but the food looked very good. People seemed very happy stuffing their faces with yummy bakery and breakfast sandwiches. We missed it but you should not!! GET the whipped honey topping on your coffee drink! Everyone was getting it and raving about it. Next time we won’t miss it!
