⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We traveled down from Southern Indiana /(Greater Louisville, KY) for a business trip with our management team, and while in Gatlinburg we visited Waffle de Lys several times—sometimes with as many as 19 people. Every visit was excellent. The service from Lucie and Chris was truly premium. Lucie’s friendly, outgoing, and cheerful demeanor immediately stood out. Her European background from France added a special authenticity and warmth to the experience, making each visit feel genuinely welcoming and unique. She has a natural ability to connect with people and make everyone feel at home. Chris is a truly world-class barista—fast, friendly, cheerful, and exceptionally gifted at making drinks. Whether it was hot chocolate, coffee, or smoothies, everything was prepared with skill, consistency, and care, even while handling large groups with ease. Our group tried a wide variety of items, including hot chocolates, coffees, Belgian waffles, and smoothies, and everything was outstanding. The hot chocolate was rich and smooth, the coffees were expertly crafted, and the Belgian waffles were exactly what we were craving—fresh, warm, and topped with real Belgian chocolate, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream. Everything tasted high-quality and thoughtfully made. Waffle de Lys was the perfect place to stop, grab something special, and recharge between attractions, whether enjoying our treats briefly inside or taking them to go. What truly set this place apart was the wholesome Christian environment, filled with kindness, love, and good music. You can genuinely feel the care and intention behind both the service and the atmosphere. Waffle de Lys became our go-to stop to recharge and relax in between our activities. We finally found a place that serves exactly what we were craving — hot chocolate and Belgian waffles! Right before Christmas, the weather was cold and grey, and all we wanted was something sweet, warm, and comforting. Most places around only offered takeaway options, but this café was the only one where we could sit inside, relax, and enjoy our treats in a cozy atmosphere. Their hot chocolate was absolutely delicious — rich, creamy, and perfect for a winter day. The Belgian waffles were fantastic, served with real Belgian chocolate, fresh strawberries, and whipped cream. Everything tasted fresh and delightful. Chris is very friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. We loved this place and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a warm spot to enjoy dessert, especially during the holiday season!

My family and I had the pleasure of having breakfast here. One of the few places my wife could find a macha latte and it was good. I ordered a cappuccino and Chris made it so well I went back and ordered a second one for the road. Very very satisfied with our experience.

Wife and I had the La Crunchy and a frappuccino. We added ice cream to the La Crunchy and it was the right move. Very good desert. The cookie butter is so so good. Frappuccino was also good and made with good quality coffee. Will be going back to try another selection. Off the main drag with a couple tables outside to sit at. Also some small amount of good seating inside. Staff were very friendly.
