Crema's Take
“This charming French bistro feels like a neighborhood gathering spot where regulars and newcomers alike linger over fresh-baked pastries and thoughtfully made sandwiches, with loyal customers following the owners through multiple locations because the warmth here is genuine. You'll find yourself equally content claiming a quiet table inside or settling into the outdoor seating with a café au lait and an eclair that tastes like it was made this morning—because it was. It's the kind of place that makes you want to come back not just for the food, but for that delightful, unhurried French café feeling that's increasingly rare to find.”

★★★★★ This is a fantastic French bakery! The staff is super friendly and welcoming, and there’s plenty of seating both inside and outside, which makes it a great spot to relax and enjoy your food. They have tons of options, from sweet treats to savory items, and they even bake their own fresh bread. I ordered the croissant sandwich, and it was incredibly flaky and delicious. I also tried a French dessert that was recommended to me—something I hadn’t had before—and it was so good! They’re also happy to warm items up for you, which is a nice touch.
Just had a wonderful experience at neighborhood favorite La Brioche. Having known the owners now for several years (as a customer) following them from their OG location off Granby Street, this local gem always offers a 5 star experience when I visit. Grabbed some macarons for the kids and a few breakfast items for the wife and I this AM. And a decaf Americano… also fantastic although a simple item. If you want to support local and spend your $ back into the community rather than the corporations that whisk profits out of Hampton Roads to a high priced office space in Manhattan, visit these guys regularly and often!
Cute, cozy little French bistro with fresh bread and pastries daily. We liked the turkey Brie on baguette, but next time I would take it home and toast - add some mustard (they didn’t have any mustard in store). The quiche was good but not hot enough, it was lukewarm. I liked the Nutella pastry!
OMG! I can't even tell you the deliciousness! Everything so fresh and amazing! We had some sandwiches and eclairs and my husband had a cake thing! Just OMG!!! 1000stars if I could!
The best word to describe this place is delightful. Located in a charming spot on Colley Avenue, this cafe truly impressed us. The environment and decor are comfortable and clean, creating an inviting atmosphere. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed croissants and tarts, all of which were delicious. This charming cafe is a must-visit in Norfolk and has officially been added to our go-to list!
