Crema's Take
“Tucked into Berkeley, this espresso-focused café captures a moody, artfully designed space complete with velvet rope curtains and a striking orange arch that draws you into something special. The baristas here take real care with their craft—pulling smooth, rich shots and pouring some genuinely excellent lattes—while fostering a genuinely welcoming atmosphere where regulars linger over laptops and conversation feels natural rather than rushed. Just check their hours before you go, as consistency with posting them seems to be a work in progress.”

Walked in on an empty day, the lady working there kept her gaze on me the whole time, and told me I couldn’t sit down if I didn’t buy anything, as I was checking the menu, she proceeded to stare and “fix” everything I touched, she said “what are you doing” everytime I touched a menu… I proceeded to leave as it was an uncomfortable, and profiling experience (mind you, I walked in with books as I’m a student just looking to study)
Stopped by this café in Berkeley and loved it. The place has a warm, relaxed vibe with just the right amount of buzz from people studying and chatting. The coffee was excellent—smooth, rich, and clearly made with care. I tried their cappuccino and it was perfectly balanced. The staff were friendly and seemed to genuinely enjoy what they do, which adds to the atmosphere. There’s plenty of seating, good Wi-Fi, and a nice mix of indoor and outdoor spots. Great place to work for a few hours or just hang out and unwind. Definitely coming back.
Can't give em any business cuz they don't post hours on the door nor are they on line hours honored. I hear hood things from others but geeeeze manoman.....have some commercial and merchant consistency. Its Saturday....wth r u????
What a hidden gem! I didn’t knew they were here the atmosphere is absolutely beautiful and cozy and the service was immaculate. The barista was very welcoming and he had a beautiful smile. Highly recommend and try their amazing cappuccino. Also not to forget the hours are amazing.
The interior design is terrific with the velvet rope curtain, the huge orange arch and the colorful mural. The food is also very good and they serve the best lattes
