Grandview Grind

Crema's Take
“Tucked in Grandview Heights, this neighborhood gem strikes that perfect balance between a reliable morning stop and a genuine hangout spot where regulars come to settle in for hours. The baristas clearly know their craft—whether you're ordering a traditional espresso drink, a creative specialty like honey lavender latte, or exploring their matcha offerings—and they'll even guide you through brewing details with genuine care. It's reasonably priced, opens early and closes late, and pairs quality coffee with solid pastries and smoothies, making it the kind of local spot that actually deserves to be your go-to.”

I don't know if this a one off occurrence but I was very disappointed in my experience today. The baristas messed up both my order and my friend's order. I asked for a honey lavender latte and recieved no honey. My friend asked for a quad espresso but ended up with a blonde espresso. That has more caffeine than regular and he ended up getting sick. If making coffee orders is too hard I saw that the local Goodwill is hiring.
Grandview Grind is actually what you want in a neighborhood coffee shop ☕️ If you are looking for a local coffee shop in Grandview Heights, skip the bigger name spots and go here. This place truly cares about its community and has always prioritized keeping everyone safe. You can feel that people-over-profit mindset in the way they treat their patrons and run their space. First, the practical win, you do not have to deal with the headache of parking on Grandview Avenue because they have their own lot. That alone makes meeting a friend or popping in for coffee so much easier. My order is always an iced coffee, and it never misses. Smooth, refreshing, and consistent every time. They feature local coffee roasters, which makes it feel even more rooted in the Columbus coffee scene, and their pastries are the perfect something extra whether you want a quick bite or a little treat with your drink. The vibe is ideal. The noise level is just right, enough life to feel cozy and welcoming, but not so loud that you cannot talk or focus. They also showcase local artists on the walls, which adds personality and makes every visit feel a little different. Charlie and the rest of the staff are a huge part of what makes Grandview Grind special. Always friendly, kind, and genuinely welcoming, they make it feel like a true neighborhood café instead of just another coffee stop. If you want great iced coffee in Grandview, local art, local roasters, easy parking, and a coffee shop that actually cares, Grandview Grind is the move. Big thank you to Charlie and the whole team for being such a bright spot in the community
Out of towner who found this cute coffee and smoothie shoppe. Delicious smoothie and nice vibe.
Hands down my favorite coffee shop in Columbus. This is my go to place when I need productivity, good vibes, and amazing coffee (which is also very reasonably priced). This is one of the only coffee shops I have ever been to that I don't wear headphones because the music is immaculate every time. Their menu has a variety of options for whatever you're feeling (including a variety of delicious teas) and the baristas are some of the kindest people I have ever met. Shout out to Sam, who makes unparalleled lattes every single time.
Great little local coffee spot. Good selection of tea and coffee with some pastries to round things out. Baristas very polite and helpful, including a quick note on how long my tea should steep. Neat selection of artwork on the walls.
