Coffee Shot

The high food and atmosphere score are given due to the fact I've been coming here for a while and have enjoyed it. Today I went in and was next in line. A woman enters the store and when the person in front of me is finished paying, the barista takes the woman's order who just walked in as if I was not even there.

Just tried iced matcha latte with almond milk + one pump of vanilla from Coffee Shot and OMG… it was so good 😍 The matcha was super smooth — no grainy matcha chunks like so many other places. The flavor was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, not too bitter. Honestly, one of the best matchas I’ve had in New York! The staff was also really sweet and welcoming, which makes the experience even better 🫶 Highly recommend stopping by I’m definitely coming back! ☕💚✨

The beverages I got were not good, matcha latte was just milk and ordered a macchiato and it just tasted like an espresso shot. However their pastries were good

Needed a quick bite before the movie. Went in and although there were 2 people behind the counter, I was not acknowledged for a long time. A friend of theirs came in and got his drink made and left. Then and only then did one of them asked if I had placed my order. The croissant was a bit too sweet for me. Wouldn’t come back based on lack of service.

Cozy coffee shop. Situated on a sunny corner of Forest Hills. A good spot to grab some quick caffeine. Got the Turkish potato Bourekas for $12. Good size & tasty, loaded with carbohydrates. PROS 1) convenient & fast service 2) outdoor seating CONS 1) limited pastry selection 2) sandwiches available but menu is not in plain view 3) cafe is loud, tough to have a conversation 4) outdoor & indoor seating is limited
