Didn’t appreciate the gal working at the counter who was rude. Music was not great hearing an artist screaming. Has potential but they should consider chill music. Mochi muffin & matcha were ok. It’s better at Cafe Makaiko.

While all in-house coffee, service and the food are great, the Ethiopian beans have been a little subpar over the last couple of months - I pick up beans every other week as it used to be one of the best light and fruit forward roasts and noticed that the flavor has become bland and prices have shot up. Hopefully they bring the original beans/flavor back

This is by far the best coffee shop in the entire city and I am a coffee snob. Fantastic lattes and niche espresso drinks you can’t find anywhere else. The best avocado toast and baristas that are true artists. I was having a rough day after dropping my kitty Kay off for a surgery and the barista somehow knew exactly how to cheer me up and made a beautiful and adorable kitty cat design with foam on my latte that made my day. Ps I love buying the large bag of fresh roasted beans so I can enjoy home coffee at home. They even ground it to espresso grind for me to make in my bialletti.

Home Coffee Roasters is one of my favorite coffee shops in the city! As someone who likes more sophisticated sweet drinks, you get some really thought out and unique coffees you can get here. I would highly recommend the rose latte, they use real rose petals to top off the drink and it's one of my favorite treats! The staff is very friendly, and theres a good amount of tables you can sit to enjoy your drink at. They do have wifi so I have been able to come here to work on some projects while enjoying their coffee. I also recommend taking your drink down the street to Clement Nursery for a lovely coffee and plant time.

both my friend and i got the birthday cake latte. i didn’t love mine (ordered as less sweet w/ almond milk) but my friends was much better (regular sweetness with whole milk). baristas were incredibly friendly.
