Crema's Take

This cozy Italian spot in New York has mastered the art of making everyone feel like family, whether you're lingering over coffee with a friend, bringing your pup along for the evening, or sharing a work dinner. The kitchen takes care with every dish—their gluten-free options are indistinguishable from the regular menu, and classics like fried zucchini and lasagna arrive with real attention to flavor and technique. It's the kind of place where warm service and genuine hospitality make you want to become a regular, perfect for unhurried conversations over traditional Italian coffee and light bites.

Wonderful! Happy to call this a place I am happy to come back to visit and frequent!! It’s a very cozy and welcoming restaurant with a warm and friendly wait staff. We had 0 issue with service and they were very attentive to our needs. I thought the arancini were wonderfully done — you could taste the individual grains of rice that sometimes restaurants overlook in their version of arancini. The rigatoni vodka was delicious. Comforting, warm, not too creamy, well-done! Their pizzas use cheese in their crust to give it this crispy exterior. Some might hate it; I was indifferent to it. I thought the Hot Louie tasted great and the pepperoni topping was solid. Would I spend $25 for that pizza again? Not particularly, but I wasn’t upset that I ordered it. It’s midtown 🤷‍♂️ The Tiramisu was a bit of a dud. At $14, it comes in a small bowl - it’s just not as creamy as you’d expect and the coffee taste isn’t as vibrant. Most definitely not worth ordering again. Despite my criticisms — they’re all nitpicky in nature. I’d be happy to come back and take my friends here! If I’m ever in the area, I’d definitely stick to the pasta, some wine, and maybe another appetizer. Can pass on the pizza and dessert.

Went here for a work dinner and it did not disappoint. Serrano’s delivers classic Italian comfort without the fuss. The fried zucchini is crisp and light, served with bright marinara and creamy aioli. Mozzarella sticks have that perfect stretch, and the square-cut pepperoni pizza features crispy edges and gooey cheese. Chicken parm is hearty and well-balanced with tangy sauce and melted mozzarella. Pastas were rich but not heavy. The cozy setting makes it ideal for sharing dishes and hanging out. Definitely a great spot

Absolutely loved it! My favorite gluten-free chicken Parmesan — you would never know it was gluten-free. I also had the lasagna special, and it was outstanding. Gluten-free dishes can sometimes miss certain flavors you hope for, but Serrano’s delivered beyond expectations across the board. I had it with the Chianti Classico, which was also great. Can’t wait to come back to try more items on the menu.

We wanted some pizza and close to our hotel, this place had the best reviews. We had 4 people and a stroller , with our french bulldog in it. We waited about 15 min for a table. Pet friendly. We got a bottle of wine and some apps. Mozzarella sticks, chopped salad and a Cesar salad with chicken. All were good, salads needed more dressing. Our server disappeared for a while, we finally asked someone, they told us our server left for the day. The new server never came to our table till we asked. Pizzas, we got the sausage peppers, hot louie. All were pretty good. You have to like that style of pizza though. We asked for more sauce, which was nice. I also got the carbonara, no photo, it was pretty good. Overall, nice place for some food and drinks.

I had an amazing experience at Seranos Italian Restaurant! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The food is absolutely fantastic, every dish we tried was full of flavor and made with care. The appetizers were fresh and flavorful, the pasta dishes were perfectly cooked with rich, authentic sauces, and the pizza was simply incredible with a perfect crust and delicious toppings. The service at Seranos is also outstanding. The staff is attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, making you feel right at home. They were happy to answer questions about the menu and gave great recommendations. The restaurant itself has a warm and inviting atmosphere, ideal for a casual meal with friends, a date night, or even a business dinner. On top of that, the location is very convenient, just a short walk from Penn Station, which makes it easy to get to and from. Overall, Seranos Italian Restaurant exceeded my expectations in every way. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a great location makes it one of my favorite spots in the city. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Italian cuisine with a welcoming atmosphere. I can’t wait to come back and try more dishes 🤩👍👍👍👍👍
