Le Quartier Bakery & Cafe

Crema's Take
“Nestled in Lincoln, Le Quartier is a beloved neighborhood spot where the real stars are the house-made breads, pastries, and croissants that keep locals coming back—especially those who appreciate grabbing frozen ones to take home. The warm, inviting atmosphere and genuinely friendly staff make it equally suited for a quick caffeine fix or lingering with friends over a latte and fresh pastries, though their savory options are more hit-or-miss than their baked goods. It's the kind of place families feel comfortable bringing kids, and where a simple coffee becomes part of a cherished routine.”

One of our family favorite places to grab coffee and enjoy bread and pastries. The staff are all very sweet and friendly. Only suggestion I have is to consider not playing music with explicit lyrics - especially on a Sunday morning.
Went for lunch with friends and while our food was okay (grilled cheese was very bland and small for the price…and on different bread than advertised), the huge disappointment was the desserts. Tried 4 different items and 3 out of the 4 tasted like they had been sitting in the display far too long!) We’d taken our food to go so couldn’t complain to the staff so I sent a message to the manager. The biggest disappointment was absolutely no response back! Not a good was to do business! I expect better customer service (especially since we spent over $100 for lunch for 4 people) I marked down service because they were so slow. The front counter staff were very nice.
Had a lovely experience at Le Quartier. Atmosphere is warm and inviting, staff is friendly and attentive, and food is fresh and delicious. My new favorite spot for breakfast and a latte. Love everything about this place! Well managed with quick and efficient service.
Le Quartier's chicken salad is very good! It is among my favorite. The breads, rolls and pastries are also outstanding. We recently had lunch at the Edgewood location and it is, in my opinion, missing the mark. Our sandwiches, with kids, were the Cuban, the artichoke grilled cheese (I think that's correct...it wasn't mine), the kids grilled cheese, the kids turkey and the monthly special (roast beef, cheese, horseradish, etc). Each sandwich was quite boring. The sides (Couscous and Kale salad) were also quite underwhelming considering this is *Le Quartier*. I was disappointed (and the cost would be reasonable if the sandwiches and sides were really good, but it's on the high side given this). I'd give the lunch a 3 star and the other items a 5 star. I personally believe it could be better. I'll still get the chicken salad and breads, but if this is typical for the lunches I'll have to skip.
Love this new location of Le Quartier! There is seating both inside and outside, and I always love grabbing some frozen pastries to go. 🥐
