Crema's Take

Tucked inside the Dallas Arts Tower, this cafe has quickly become the neighborhood's most anticipated gathering spot, earning serious social media buzz for its thoughtfully designed space and genuinely creative menu that spans both stellar coffee and Instagram-worthy matcha drinks like their signature Pink Cloud. The vibe is as carefully crafted as the food—expect beautiful plating on everything from fig and brie sandwiches to full breakfast spreads, served by a genuinely warm staff that makes solo laptop workers and group meetups feel equally at home. Fair warning: the crowd and slightly slower service are the tradeoff for settling into this gem, but the energy and care behind every detail make it worth the wait.

Beautiful and welcoming atmosphere with good food and very friendly staff. Service was a bit slower than expected, and the coffees I tried were slightly over-roasted for my taste. That said, I’d definitely give them another chance and would still recommend it for brunch or breakfast.

I visited Cafe Olivia on a weekday lunch with high expectations given the great reviews, but unfortunately, the experience was underwhelming. I ordered the Fig & Brie sandwich, a Pink Cloud matcha, and a regular vanilla matcha. The matcha was disappointing. It lacked flavor and was essentially just green-tinted milk. The vibrancy and quality didn't match the photos I saw in the initial reviews. Side note, they said they use Tenzo matcha. The sandwich was decent enough, but I wouldn't order it again. They also got my side order wrong as they gave me sweet potato chips instead of the salad side that I chose. Beyond the food, the service needs streamlining. It felt disorganized, with staff moving in and out of the register area constantly as they were taking my order and drinks being served out of order. It’s a lovely space, but the operations and execution don’t currently match the aesthetic.

The cafe Dallas didn’t know it needed I’ve been anxiously waiting for this opening! The food is amazing as well as the coffee/matcha. Not to mention the whole place is gorgeous, not a detail missed. Whether you need a quick pick me up, a bite to eat or a place to get some work done, this is the spot to visit!

Saw Cafe Olivia trending on social media and wanted to give it a try!! Spoiler: it's sooo worth the hype! The cafe is located inside the Dallas Arts Tower. I went during lunch, and it was pretty busy. There are several company offices in the building, so expect a crowd of corporate professionals during the workday. Despite the rush, service was impressively fast. I'm totally obsessed with the dinnerware and custom drinkware. Everything feels so thoughtfully curated. The food and drinks are definitely instagram-worthy but they also genuinely taste amazing as they look. I ordered the Butcher's Cut. The steak was tender and super flavorful, the crispy potatoes were divine, and the sauce tied everything together perfectly. I need that sauce recipe because I want to dip it in everything. I also loved the Fig & Rose latte. The flavors and sweetness were beautifully balanced without overpowering the espresso. Overall, I'd 100% come back. In my experience, sometimes, aesthetic cafes nail the visuals but don't always deliver on flavor, but that's absolutely not the case here. Everything about my experience was phenomenal. Definitely give them a visit!
