Shot Tower Coffee
542 Christian St, Philadelphia, PA
Crema's Take
“Shot Tower is a cozy neighborhood corner spot that nails the balance between serious espresso work and creative, approachable drinks like their beloved Maple Jawn, which swaps traditional espresso for cold brew concentrate to create something uniquely smooth and creamy. The varied seating, large windows, and genuinely warm atmosphere make it an equally welcoming place to linger over a single pour or settle in with your laptop for a few hours. It's the kind of local coffee shop that feels like it belongs to the neighborhood, where both the drinks and the vibe are worth the visit.”

I ordered a maple coffee and it is sweet and not bad. The coffee shop looks like a cute nice local place. However, the barista working there is cold and looks very unhappy. I, as a customer, started with greeting her first and saying have a nice day when I left but ended up getting nothing back, even a smile or a look. I feel so bad to start my morning this way in a place that looks so warm and nice. Hopefully it’s just because she had a bad morning not something else.
This is a small corner neighboorhood coffee shop with good coffee and friendly staff. There is a variety of different seating and it was quiet/coffee shop atmosphere with some conversations and light volume barista playlist from behind the counter. There is a restroom. The coffee was very good. There were limited food options though. Pastry cabinet with the usual items and a vanilla yogurt with granola. I would absolutely come back for another coffee.
I ordered the Maple Jawn, and it was so delicious!! I like how it’s different from a traditional latte: they use a cold brew concentrate as the espresso, and a lot of milk so it’s still creamy. I came on a Saturday morning and the atmosphere was incredible. People were working, chatting with friends, or sitting outside enjoying the nice weather. I highly recommend this cafe and would love to come back to do some studying!!
Strong experience with a great atmosphere and solid espresso shot. Lovely neighborhood vibe with customers of all ages enjoying the large windows, varied seating, and warm atmosphere. Recommend.
Very nice coffee shop. Seems like a great place to work, lots of seating and people on laptops. Drinks were yummy. We had a matcha latte with oat milk, an iced chai latte with skim milk, and a cheese croissant. There are no prices listed for pastries. The croissant was $3.25. Entrance is fully wheelchair accessible.
