Foxtail Coffee Co. - One Daytona

During my visit, the cashier, Claudia, behaved in a manner that I found discourteous and unprofessional. When I approached the register, I was not acknowledged or greeted. After waiting briefly, I asked if she could take my order. She responded that she would assist me when she was finished with what she was doing. Shortly afterward, she asked another customer near the register what he wanted to order. The gentleman pointed out that I was first in line, and I appreciated his consideration. I then attempted to place my order for a cappuccino and asked what flavor options were available. Instead of verbally explaining, the cashier pointed to a small cardboard sign listing the flavors. At that point, I decided not to proceed with my purchase because I felt the interaction was unnecessarily dismissive and unfriendly. As a new customer to this establishment, I expected a basic level of courtesy and customer service. Because of this experience, I chose to leave without ordering and do not plan to return. I also feel it is important to bring this experience to everyones attention so that similar interactions with future customers can be avoided.

My husband and I are coffee shop owners in Illinois. We were in town on our honeymoon and were looking for a great new place to try. We love checking out coffee shops when we travel. Foxtail became an instant favorite. As we entered we were greeted by ambiance, followed by an excellent barista, and finally, fabulous handcrafted drinks. Highly recommend!

I come here almost weekly and the girls working are always the sweetest, not to mention they make the best matcha in town. Seriously, I’ve tried them everywhere else and I don’t even want them anymore in comparison to this foxtail location.

Foxtail Coffee Co. nailed it with their pistachio cappuccino — smooth, nutty, and pure comfort in a cup. The kind of coffee that makes you slow down and just enjoy the moment. Can’t wait to come back for more!
