Crema's Take
“Tucked in Getzville, this Chinese-style bakery strikes an impressive balance between specialty drinks and artisanal pastries, with creative options like the Snowy Jasmine Tea Latte and pillowy cream mochis that keep regulars coming back. The drinks here lean toward thoughtful rather than heavy-handed sweetness, and they use lactose-free milk across the board, making it a considerate choice for different dietary needs. It's the kind of place where both the coffee and pastry cases deserve your attention—perfect for a slow sit with something truly distinctive.”

As I was standing in line, I was hoping this would be a place I'd have to stop myself from going to multiple times a week. It's nice being right. YUM. I ordered the Snowy Jasmine Tea Latte--it's like drinking a summer flower. I also got the Burnt Basque Cheesecake for my husband, which he heartily approved, and the Mango Cream Mochi. Now I know what mochi is supposed to be. I have to visit again (and again) because there are so many more desserts and teas to try. Buke Baking is a treasure.
The desserts and drinks aren't overly sweet at all! Everything I've had here is delicious! The cheesecake is soft and decadent and the cream mochis are huge but soft and pillowy. I love this place! It is a bit small but everything they have to offer is well worth it! The customer service is kind and they make sure you're getting exactly what you want
*Updated review*: Small Chinese style bakery with specialized cakes and selection of pastries. Drinks are not too flavorful but they taste good. The milk they use is lactose free! I hope they expand to an even bigger location that has more seating and space for the cats (the cats look more cramped and sad now). There is also never any pastries available whenever I go. Staff is friendly and helpful. I hope they can improve further!
It’s okay. I think I’ve had better mango smoothies compared to the mango rice mochi smoothie they have. I got the Biscoff milk cake which was also alright, it was not too sweet and the cake was very soft and moist but the flavor profile was boring after two bites. The kitty was the star of the show.
This is my new favorite boba and bakery in Buffalo. Their drinks are unique and flavorful with a lot of options for customization. I’ve tried the strawberry cake, chestnut cream mochi, and chestnut cheesecake. The cream mochi was unreal. The texture was silky and chewy, the cream was very fresh and airy. All three desserts were not too sweet (if you know, you know) and genuinely delicious. The interior is clean and cute. There is limited seating which is the only (and minor) downside. I will be coming back as soon as I can!
