Crema's Take

Home Cafe's genuinely warm owner and scratch-made breakfast menu—think California omelets, avocado burritos with green chili, and sausage biscuits and gravy that regulars keep coming back for—make this feel less like a transaction and more like visiting a friend's kitchen. The small, unpretentious space draws a loyal neighborhood crowd who appreciate fresh, well-executed comfort food and an owner who actually remembers your name. If you're in Englewood craving a breakfast spot with real personality and zero pretense, this is worth the detour.

Nice neighborhood breakfast/lunch cafe. We both ended up getting the same thing eggs, sausage patties, on biscuits and gravy whith homefries. All was really good. Its a small place and have several Mexican dishes. The owners I believe are of Mexican descent.
