Crema's Take

Roggenart excels at the European bakery basics—buttery croissants and laminated pastries that justify a weekend detour, paired with genuinely smooth espresso drinks that don't overshadow the pastry. The spacious, unhurried vibe on Diversey makes it equally good for lingering over breakfast with friends or powering through work, and the staff clearly takes pride in keeping things running smoothly. If you're after that classic continental cafe experience without pretension, this is the real thing.

A lovely gem on Diversey. Great ambience. Delicious coffee. The latte was smooth just like it should be. Pastries worth coming back for.

Nice bakery shop. Lots of tables to work. Wifi was fine for me. I had the chocolate Croissant and it was really good. The staff are also very helpful and nice.

I stopped by this bakery and tried both a croissant and a ham-and-cheese pastry. The ham-and-cheese pastry was quite good—savory, satisfying, and well-balanced. The croissant, on the other hand, was just mediocre. It wasn’t flaky, which I actually don’t mind since I’m not a fan…
