Crema's Take
“This lively San Francisco café doubles as a board game haven where you can settle in for hours with expertly crafted lattes and creative specialty drinks while choosing from their impressive game library. The all-day-friendly vibe—complete with genuinely helpful staff, solid pastries, and gluten-free food options—makes it equally perfect for solo coffee lovers, couples on a date, or groups looking to play Magic or compete in tournaments. With strong wifi, nearby parking, and consistently praised coffee that stands on its own (regulars say their lattes need no doctoring), it's become the rare spot where lingering actually feels welcome.”

Spent a few hours here on our last day visiting San Fransisco. Was very busy and we felt lucky to get a table. Big selection of boardgames with welcoming staff keen to help with our decision making. Great coffee, chicken waffle sandwich was delicious, served quickly and came with the best fries we experienced in San Francisco. TGP was fairly noisy when we visited but that's to be expected as there were gaming events happinging at the same time. Great place that I dont hesitate to recommend.
My partner loves playing Magic the Gathering and we were looking for a spot to play. He found this place and we decided to give it a try. Parking can be difficult but we managed to snag a spot nearby. The staff are welcoming and knowledgeable, there are plenty of tables for all different party sizes (reservations are definitely highly recommended), and it's nice that there are food and drink options.
Food was SO good! All gluten free- waffle sandwiches and crispy chicken dishes. It’s also a place to go play board games, so we happen to visit when there was a competition. We had an hour to eat, I wish we had longer but it was nice to see all these people gather together.
Amazing food, vibe and service. Although we didn't have time to actually play the games, it looked super fun. We ordered the Level Up Sandwich, the Root fries and the Dracula drink. Everything was fresh, servers were kind and helpful and the overall place was popping on this Saturday afternoon
This place is amazing…the customer service was excellent, clean and friendly atmosphere. They make the best lattes I’ve ever had. I usually put cinnamon in my latte, however, I didn’t have to add ANYTHING! And let’s get started on the turkey avocado sandwich!!!!! Hands down…a perfect blend on waffle, meat and whatever the sauce is that they put on it😋 Yummy. Last, I’ve never seen so many games. I brought my own chess board, but didn’t need it. They also have timers! Go for the experience, you won’t regret it!
