Farmers Horse Coffee
374 Massachusetts Ave, Boston, MA
Crema's Take
“Farmers Horse is a cozy Boston gem that nails the balance between serious espresso craftsmanship and genuine hospitality, with rich, balanced coffee at prices that won't break the bank. Their heated greenhouse seating area is a clever solution for avoiding the weekend crowds, and the parade of fresh-from-the-oven pastries pairs perfectly with their thoughtful drinks. Whether you're settling in solo with your laptop or meeting a group of friends, the warm, stylish vibe makes it feel less like a trendy café and more like a favorite spot you've been visiting for years.”

Cute café! Busy on weekends, but they have a heated greenhouse area with extra seating.
farmers horse is one of my fav coffee shops in boston ! the drinks are great and the atmosphere is really cozy. it is always super busy though.. and seating is very sparse so keep in mind that it might be hard to find a seat. but overall rlly great place to study and the music isn’t too loud and makes for a good lock in environment . they also have a cute semi outdoor/ greenhouse type area which is rlly cute a nice way to sit outdoors without freezing during the winter months
The coffee tastes excellent with rich, balanced flavors at a reasonable price. The café offers a warm, stylish atmosphere, perfect for relaxing, working, or meeting friends, making it a place I would happily visit again soon. ☕✨
WOW, what an amazing find in the cold Boston!! Had the best FRESH pastries, literally out of the oven! Amazing coffee and fast and warm customer service. The cafe is so cozy, stylish, and offers a great menue both savory and sweet. The covered outdoor sitting area is so smart too. We had a blast playing the board games they have!!! Can't wait to be back!
I visited The Farmer’s Horse Coffee for the first time with a group of friends, and we were all pleasantly surprised by how cozy, warm, and home-like the café feels. The coffee was excellent, the sandwich I had was one of the best I’ve had in a long time, and the pastries were absolutely delicious! This isn’t your typical coffee shop, it’s beautifully decorated, has comfortable outdoor seating for rain, cold, or sunshine, and offers a welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to stay longer. The staff and the owner were incredibly friendly and attentive. We had a wonderful time together, and we even got to enjoy some of the board games they have available while eating. We’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great spot to relax, enjoy good food, and spend time with friends or family.
