Garden of the Gods Trading Post
Garden of the Gods Park, Manitou Springs, CO
Crema's Take
“Nestled in the heart of Manitou Springs' stunning red rock landscape, this trading post pairs excellent traditional coffee with the kind of unhurried, scenic experience that makes you want to linger for hours. The dramatic geological formations surrounding the spot create an ever-changing natural backdrop that's equally perfect for sipping slowly on the outdoor seating or wandering the surprisingly well-curated collection of local goods, from jewelry to candles. It's genuinely family-friendly and genuinely beautiful—the kind of place where the landscape itself feels like part of the coffee experience.”

This place was great, the rocks are beautiful! We were able to find most of the formations, the kids loved looking for them and being able to climb a few spots. The area is well kept and easy for walking with a paved path. You need to come check the place out. It would be cool if there was something offered via activity for kids or adults to be able to do with like spotting the donations or other things in the park but we had a great time!
This is a very large location that has lots of stuff you could spend a lot of hours looking for stuff if you’re looking for jewelry soap, clothing, candles, snacks this is the place for you. They sell fudge and other kinds of snacks inside plenty of parking and an overflow parking lot the prices are a little pricey, but it is a trading post. The outside area is very pretty then at 10 recommend checking it out. They do have everything that says Colorado on they also have public restrooms. The staff was nice and helpful. I got a few trinkets.
Wow! Outside of the most stunning parts of national parks, I've never seen such extraordinary natural beauty. The rock formations are stunning and change dramatically as you observe them from different vantage points. The park is very well maintained, and it's FREE. DO NOT skip the Central Garden trail. After that, explore any of the other dozen named trails. If I could give 10 stars, I would!
This trading post has it all. Clothes, souvenirs of all kinds, decorations, toys, etc. The employees are helpful and very polite. The restrooms are clean and convenient being central to the park. There is a restaurant inside (Balanced Rock Cafe) that serves delicious wraps and burgers. We ate here twice during our short stay it was that good!
Beautiful scenery, quiet location. Parking is a hassle sometimes, but you can stop along the road and take pictures every now and then. Make sure to check out balance rock and other sights. I give it a 👍🏾.
