The food was too good we forgot to take pictures (next time)! Great little shop on water street serving coffee and banh mi. My wife got the traditional combo and I got the grilled chicken. Both came out fantastic. I got the Saigon coffee which was exactly the right balance of sweet and creamy while still having great coffee flavor. The hue salt was FANTASTIC. same great balance as the Saigon coffee and the salt foam was an excellent topping. Definitely looking forward to going again soon!

This Banh Mi sandwich shop is the closest quality you get in California, right in downtown Syracuse! Everything is fresh, the bread flakey and perfect. The bread is made in house as I am told by the owner. The sandwich proportions was perfect, everything from the filling to the bread. Definitely worth the time to get there and the money. Also, great selection of Vietnamese coffee, and drinks.

Good coffee and sandwich. Just hope they can make sandwich faster. I wait about 30 minutes for two sandwiches. But the food and service is good. Both drink and food have vegan option!

The absolute BEST cafe in town! Staff is extremely friendly and welcoming. The shop is absolutely beautiful. Every drink is crafted with love. Bread are freshly made every day. If you ever stop by, make sure you get one of everything!! Shout out to my adorable barista Amie

Today I braved the cold, rain, and snow to visit the brand new and highly anticipated Wake Up Vietnamese Coffee & Banh Mi. I had to try the Hue Salt Foam coffee and the Traditional Classic Banh Mi sandwich. The cool salty and sweet cream compliments and cuts the bitterness of the coffee perfectly. A magnificent balance of flavors that is tantalizingly unique with a velvety smooth finish. The traditional banh mi was absolutely delicious. Bread with that signature crusty exterior yet maintaining a soft interior, pork pate, cold cuts, pickled carrot, cucumber, and fresh sprigs of cilantro. The sandwich was incredibly balanced. Something quick, fresh, and tasty! As a Hanover Square local, I have been patiently awaiting your opening and am so glad to see your space filled with so many happy people. I cannot wait to stop by again. Welcome to the neighborhood!!
