Crema's Take

Wrecking Ball pulls serious espresso shots that stand out even by San Francisco standards, with a Melbourne-trained approach that appeals to coffee purists looking for real depth and complexity. The latte here deserves its reputation as Union Street's best, though the cramped space means this is very much a grab-and-go spot rather than a destination for lingering. If you want excellent, no-compromise espresso drinks made by people who actually care about the craft, it's worth the stop; just don't expect room to settle in.

Best latte on union street! Not much space to hang out and enjoy your latte, but still a frequent spot for me.

Overall this seems like a great spot. To be direct, we did a quick stop in so I'm giving it a 5-stars but can't go in depth much since it was a quick stop. I tried their Guatemalan coffee that was sold to me as more Earthy. It certainly seemed that way but I didn't try their…
