Lazo Empanadas - Junction Food and Drink
2000 S Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO
Crema's Take
“This cozy counter inside Junction Food Court serves up authentic empanadas that transport you straight to South America, with reviewers raving about the genuine flavors and fresh ingredients that taste like real love went into them. The rotating selection of 12 savory and sweet varieties means there's always something new to try, though fair warning: portions are petite, so come hungry or grab a friend to share the $10 two-pack. It's the perfect quick stop for a late-night bite before catching a movie across the street, with plenty of parking and a welcoming vibe that keeps locals coming back.”

I’ve been in love with Lazo Empanadas. The empanadas are always super fresh, and you can really taste the love they put into them. My favorites are the spicy chicken, spicy ground beef, and the beef quesadillas. I also tried the spinach empanada and really liked it. For sweet ones, the Nutella & banana is my favorite. Highly recommend — everything is made with so much care.
2 empanadas with sauce for $10, but the empanadas are very small, and that’s quite expensive for just 2 mini empanadas. I hope you can make them a bit bigger or add one more for the same price. The prices and the product you’re offering are not good for the customer. Always giving constructive criticism. Greetings to the guys from Argentina.
Good empanadas in a food court across the street from a large movie theater. They have a selection of 12 savory and three sweet empanadas plus a few other items. The ham & cheese and steak empanadas are both good, but the juices inside the steak one can be messy. I preferred them without the sauces. Service was fine and preparation time was about 5 minutes. There's lots of seating available in the food court and the court provides unsecured Wi-Fi for customers. There's plentiful parking, but you may not be particularly close to the food court especially if you plan to stay long enough to see a movie.
Oh my god were these empanadas delicious! Probably some of the best I’ve ever had and I love empanadas. This place is a small restaurant inside of a larger food court plenty of parking and easily accessible. Would highly recommend for a visit.
I spent a few years in Chile and miss Empanadas. These are the real deal! I like them better because they don't have the awful purple olive that the Chilean ones did.
