In this really cold day, I was glad to find this coffee shop. I got a chai latte and this pastry that was filled with spicy lentils. It was delicious 🤤 Service was great and friendly. Really lovely space. Clean and open space. Coming back.
Coffee is average. Didn't try food. Service was poor, the employees were more engaged with their own conversation than with customers. If you like ordering and sitting outside, maybe you'll like it. I don't get why this is so highly rated. I guess it's for people who like really sweet coffee drinks.
I love the concept of Refuge, but also their space is really great. You order outside at the food truck, so that the indoor space is a separate place to work or read with some chill music. They have many outlets and a good number of tables/seats around as well. I'm not sure about the coffee, but the smoothie is not it... It tastes like frozen sugar water.
The machine for frappes was broken. The cappuccino which is only 8oz as it should be was basically milk. Sadly they did a single shot… so it’s a small latte not a cappuccino. Really? You almost had me thinking you know what a cappuccino should be. The building with seating was nice, but the restroom is outside and smelled like an outhouse. Enjoyed that my kid could draw comfortably while I work for a little bit but really disappointed in the “cappuccino” Idk why it’s so hard to find a decent one in Atlanta but it’s sad that we can’t just do a small latte and actually serve a real cappuccino. 🤷🏽♀️ don’t come for good coffee, stay for the decent seating. Cool concept of the food truck- if the quality was there idly would be great.
Such a great vibe and beautiful place to enjoy a cup of coffee and contribute to a social cause. I love the truck where coffee is served, beautiful idea and the tables near it make it a great space to enjoy a great company. You will also find tables inside. Which is great during times of heat and rain. I ordered a cappuccino, it was great and to my liking with low acidity coffee. We sat inside and enjoyed a great talk with the founder. Such a beautiful social impact she is making in the area. I strongly recommend you visit and chat with the beautiful team, help make a change to someone’s life. Don’t forget to check the beautiful drawing on the wall outside. You can spot the Lebanese coffee cup ❤️
