Crema's Take

Uncle Kelly's is a beloved neighborhood spot where the wait for your drink is genuinely worth it—their iced coffees hit that sweet spot of quality that keeps locals coming back, though fair warning: their signature milky drinks skew sweet and creamy, so espresso enthusiasts might want to customize. Beyond the coffee, this cozy hole-in-the-wall shines for its full breakfast spread (those hash brown casseroles are a standout) and a staff that treats you like family, with baristas like Emma creating the kind of welcoming vibe that makes it perfect for lingering with friends, your pup, or just settling in for an unhurried morning.

Like every other review, yes it is a wait for drinks, but the iced coffees we got were amazing and worth the wait!

Uncle Kelly Breakfast was good, amazing hash brown casserole, the sausage little dry, nice biscuits gravy, good bacon. Great service. The pull pork has brown casserole was spicy.

Slow but very friendly service. We came because we had seen the place recommended on social media. Very milky drinks, much too milky and sweet for me, so I would personally add extra espresso next time to balance that out if I were to try another fun fall drink. We were momentarily confused about finding the place as well because it’s in a hotel on one wall of the restaurant inside. Was a little pricey for a coffee I didn’t even end up liking but it is close to downtown Nashville and the ghost drinks are pretty popular now so you’ll have that.

I have lived in Nashville for a little over a year and just recently discovered this amazing coffee shop near my home. Emma was fantastic and very welcoming to me and my dog. My ice latte was so delicious and she even added some cute ghost just in time for spooky season. The coffee shop is located in the Cambria hotel. It truly is a hidden gem.

Emma was so wonderful! She was so kind and helpful while we were there! It’s such a cute hole in the wall place with good muffins and great coffee!
