Crema's Take

This beloved Colombian gathering spot in Deerfield Beach delivers authentic flavors that transport you straight to Bogotá, with standout dishes like their Punta Picanha sirloin and housemade empanadas that keep families and coworkers coming back. The real magic happens on their breezy outdoor patio, where the mint lemonades flow freely and the unhurried pace invites you to linger over conversation—a rare find in South Florida where speed usually wins. Despite the occasional miss in the kitchen, their consistently warm service and genuine Colombian hospitality have earned them a devoted following of locals who treat this place like their extended living room.

I have to assume I got the worse dish they make but man this lomo is the worse lomo I've had. The meat had no color and the sauce was over salted. The tomatoes were over done. The rice was decently cooked but on the salty side. I asked for some hot sauce to help cut the salt and it was salty as well and wasn't spicy. If you come here just don't get the lomo saltado. I should have known when my food came out in less than 5 minutes it was going to be bad

LOVELY! I was here for a work trip and had the pleasure of coming here with a coworker. I had the mint lemonade and the steak with guacamole. The mint lemonade was delicious and I should have gotten a refill (but I don't want to make my company thing Im going crazy 😂) and the steak was filling! My flight was delayed by two hours and Im still full from the steak, guacamole, and the sides (rice, salad, and plantains). When I’m back in the area, I will definitely come here again!

This place is amazing! My family is Colombian and we wanted to visit this restaurant based on the excellent reviews. The staff and service were great. The food came out quick and all of our dishes tasted like authentic Colombian food! The eggs were delicious and the cheese on the arepas were perfectly salty and reminded me of my family meals! I was also suprised to see a live violinist she was really good and talented. 5 stars 5 stars

I got the Punta Picanha sirloin meal, empanadas as an appetizer, and flan as a dessert. The food came out fast and everything was absolutely delicious. The only reason that I didn't give a perfect score is because it took our waiter over 10mins to bring our drink refills.

My parents were craving Colombian food and what better than El Balcon. We got here around 12:30p and it was perfect timing! We were able to enjoy a nice table on their outside patio vs the inside which can get a bit loud at times - thankfully! By 1:30pm the place was packed! I really enjoy their food and the menu has all the choices that you need. My mom ordered the mondongo which was an extremely generous portion (she took half home!), my dad ordered punta de anca and it was perfect, and I had to have their calentado (beans, rice, chicharrón, steak, eggs, arepa with cheese - full plate!). I didn’t save room for dessert 😔 will have to come back!
